The GOP consulting firm WPA Research has developed a new web app called Archie, formally known as Archimedes, to help political campaigns better manage and utilize their data. The app allows campaigns to collect and centralize data from various sources in one place to generate models, target audiences, and make strategic decisions. Smaller campaigns will also be able to access statewide campaign data. WPA's CEO said the app simplifies data management and gives campaigns easy tools to work with data. The chief research officer noted most campaigns below the presidential level struggle to bring together their data sources. The app was created based on the CEO's frustrations on Ted Cruz's presidential campaign with the complex web of various campaign data systems.
