Qatar’s vision! By: Mohamad Tiba 8B
Intro That’s right you heard it Qatar’s going to have to make a few adjustments to the 2030 plan to make it ready for the World Cup in 2022.
An Educated Population In the 2030 plan they are saying that they want a world-class educational system for the citizens of Qatar. In order to have to a world class educational system they are going to have to spend a lot of money. Since the World Cup is costing them 54 billion they are going to either have to have some cut backs or they are going to have to spend more money then they were expecting to spend. In the 2030 plan they wanted to teach the residents of Qatar all about oil and there most valuable assets but they now have to teach them how to run the World Cup. So they will have to hold back on that goal for the world class educational system.
Health Care Qatar’s population has increased over the years this means they will have to have a better health care system in order to make sure that no one is at risk because of poor health care services. So they where planning on having a world class health care system. That would provide everyone in Qatar with easy access to hospitals/medical centers, it also says that everyone in Qatar will be able to afford health care services. Since the population will jump they will need more health care centers but they also have to take into consideration the hospitals overflowing because everyone knows there are some crazy football fans. Also since they are building a lot of stadiums there will definitely be some injuries.
Qatarization In the 2030 plan it states that they will give high quality training opportunities for all citizens, corresponding to their ambitions and abilities. This will be affected by the 2022 World Cup because all Qatari’s that like to play/coach football would get a lot of training from this by watching what real players/coaches do. This goal could be achieved due to the help that the World Cup would give with training with sports because most people love to play/coach football.
Conclusion 1. I think that human development will be changed in many ways due to the World Cup such as the health care centers, and educational systems. 2. I think that Qatar will have to hold back on the world class educational system and the world class care centers. 3. They would have to change a lot of things such as the amount of money going to be spent on the world cup will change how much money the country will spend in total.
