This document provides information about a two-day workshop on image interpretation following trauma. The workshop will be held in Sydney on July 4-5 and will focus on enhancing participants' ability to identify and describe normal and abnormal radiographic appearances of the upper and lower limbs. Through interactive sessions including lectures, small group discussions, and case studies, participants will develop their skills in trauma image interpretation and avoid common pitfalls. The goal is to help healthcare professionals provide more accurate opinions on trauma radiographs to better manage patients. Trainers are experienced clinical radiographers with expertise in image interpretation, education, and facilitation.

This Hospital Skills Program (HSP) module has been developed to support the professional development of doctors working in a hospital generalist role in NSW hospitals.
Doctors participating in the HSP will have at least two years of clinical postgraduate experience and not be currently participating in a specialist vocational training program.
This HSP module has been developed by CETI on behalf of NSW Health as part of the Hospital Skills Program for generalist doctors. It aims to guide doctors, their employers and educators with regard to learning and professional development needs, workplace responsibilities and clinical tasks.
This module is one of several that have been developed by CETI to support the implementation of the HSP.

Debriefing and Cardiac Arrest Quality Improvement NCEMSFDavid Hiltz
“Debriefing of cardiac arrest events, either in isolation or as part of an organized response system, improves subsequent CPR performance in-hospital and results in higher rate of return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC). Debriefing of actual resuscitation events can be a useful strategy to improve future performance (Class IIa, LOE C). Additional research on how best to teach and implement post event debriefing is warranted.”
