Dr. Nakachi is a Professor of English at Tsuru University in Japan who received her PhD and MA in English from Ohio University. Arnold Hahn was Yu Dafu's German teacher when he attended the 8th High School in Nagoya from 1915-1919. Hahn was a German national hired by the Japanese government to teach German and Latin at various schools in Japan from 1901-1933. While records state that Hahn returned to Germany during some periods, evidence suggests he was still active in Nagoya in 1919 interacting with Yu Dafu. Foreign language education was an important part of the high school curriculum in early 20th century Japan to prepare students for university, with schools allocating many teaching hours to languages like German and English.

Korean Unification Vision and Peace-Building in Northeast Asia
The document discusses conflicting unification visions between North and South Korea. North Korea proposes the "Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo" formula, which calls for abolishing South Korea's national security law and withdrawing US troops as preconditions.
