Women in Pakistan face discrimination and violence which limits their empowerment. Several laws have been passed to protect women and promote their rights, such as restricting child marriage, criminalizing domestic violence, and establishing quotas to increase women's political participation. However, more work still needs to be done to fully implement these laws and change societal attitudes that enable the abuse and oppression of women.
