Timothy writes a letter to his grandparents describing his first day on Mars in the newly established colony of Falconia. Dear grandma, dear grandpa:
It's me, your favourite grandson Timothy.
We landed in Falconia yesterday and I’m so excited to brag to all
my friends that I’m gonna be a “Martian”.
Once we landed, a huge tank like shuttle with the Tesla, SpaceX and
NASA logos boldly printed on it awaited us, it was our ride towards the
Dome City of Falconia, quite a bumpy ride that was.
As we de-boarded, all twenty-five families were welcomed by a team of
scientists who told us that we can now take off our space suits.
As we all got dressed in the allotted changing areas, Mr. Musk arrived, he
greeted us a good morning and then he spread his arms wide
“CONGRATULATIONS !!” He smiled “You’re going to be one of the first
humans to live on Mars.

couldn’t help but catch Goosebumps from his passion. He personally
took us on a tour of the whole facility.
The whole scene reminded me of the book you gifted me last
summer, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, except here Willy
Wonka became Elon Musk.
He told us that the city was named after the Big Falcon Rockets
that had allowed us to reach Mars. Our houses are being printed
by these huge machines and should be assembled within a week,
though I’m not quite a fan of the egg-like look they have.

4. The greenhouses also had genetically modified crops which could
survive the alien planet and still produce almost twice as much as its
natural counterpart. Human excreta is used to extract drinkable water
and the remaining is used to fertilize the crops. The main source of water
however is still underground water kind like how our teacher taught us
back at Earth.
As we sat again in the “tank” to go towards the next sector, Mr Musk told
us that the vehicle we were sitting in was made by his company Tesla
Motors and ran completely on electricity and that wasn’t the best part
about it. Its highlight was its tyres, they were the 3D printed “Oxygene”’
tyres by Goodyear and they photosynthesised as the vehicle moved.
While we were still trying to digest the mechanics of that, we reached to
Solar City, yet another feat of Mr. Musk’s companies, a huge all weather
solar station to take in energy from the sun and power Falconia.

5. As we started our return, Mr Musk turned around and told us that our
houses should be ready by the end of the day and we shall have a
“Planet warming party” soon.
I wrote this sitting next to the window in my room as I witnessed the
beautiful blue sunset, I liked it orange, but I guess it’ll grown on me.
