‘Hi all!
It’s nearing the end of the year and I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all of your
generous contributions of time over the past 12 months. I appreciate that the past year may
have been a tad frustrating at times, what with changes in procedure, protocol, surveys and
such. So thank you for your patience too, with us and with the Trust at large. I think it’s also
safe to say that you’ve sustained a welcoming venue for visitors and new museum team
members alike, so (again) a huge thank you for that as well!
With all that said and done I think it’s important you know that we really do appreciate what
you do here. Your flawless work is reflected in our VisitEngland survey score, where the
customer care and guide knowledge were marked 5/5 (with 89% for staff marks overall).
Further to your success, you have enabled us to remain fully open for a huge majority of the
year in spite of numerous obstacles! That’s nothing short of amazing. Let’s keep it up in
2016!
Seeing your passion for heritage in action is an inspiration, and working with you all has
been an absolute treat. I look forward to more of the same in 2016!
