the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in a shameful
ruling that decimated access to abortion. Adding insult to injury, this
unprecedented assault on our fundamental rights and bodily
autonomy took place during Pride month. Abortion access should
concern everyone, and this ruling directly impacts everyone who
can become pregnant. That’s why so many LGBTQ+ people are
deeply invested in the fight for abortion access.

7. I genuinely feel most people don’t understand the difficult and traumatic experiences
that a high majority of women and trans people go thru, some have high risk
pregnancies that could lend to either the loss of the baby or the mother or possibly
both, and let’s not forget about victims of rape, incestual rape, or even worse minors
who dealt with that trauma, are they supposed to deal with that pain and suffer? Why
is that? Most pregnancies progress without incident. But approximately 8 percent of
all pregnancies involve complications that, if left untreated, may harm the mother
or the baby. While some complications relate to health problems that existed before
pregnancy, others occur unexpectedly and are unavoidable.
