Enjoy!

"100+ guerrilla marketing examples" was presented at #onlinetuesday in Amsterdam in 5 minutes. A twitter reaction: 'fantastic, hilarious, chaotic and I want that game!' (@martinebruins). These are the best guerrilla marketing examples I could find rated according to my own rating system. I invite everybody to send me their favorites!

This presentation shows my idea about combining sudden hypes and Guerrilla Marketing with building an authentic (non hype) reputation. It shows my quest for combining fun and impact with authenticity, transparency and operational excellence. In other words: bridging the gap between hype and identity. The whole presentation is a personal fetish of lines and graphs, La Linea would be proud of me :-) It starts super simple and ends complex. It explains a lot about Life Cycle Analysis in communication and marketing. It is super visual without much text. Have fun!
Guerrilla Marketing: from 100 outstanding examples to my personal top 3Total Identity
This presentation shows 100 super examples of guerrilla marketing. It also shows my quest for ordering these examples leading to my personal top 3. The results are used to create a deck of cards: the guerrilla card game! The whole presentation is super visual without much text/. Only at the end of the presentation I include a few bullets that summarize my findings. Have fun!
PS: next presentation is more a theory of (de-) Hypification.
A full overview of Social Media: a research adventureTotal Identity
This presentation shows a practical way to gain insight in your professional use of social media and improve it. Several ways for improvement are visualized in a few drawings. In these simple drawings I tried to also make the use of social media easy to understand. At the end of the presentation I show an overview of all there is to know about social media (but were afraid to ask) in one complete poster. Have fun!

El Hexagon: A holistic model of communicationTotal Identity
This presentation shows a model I call El Hexagon. This model brings together the market, the organization and the individual and the ways in which these are interconnected. The model clearly shows the transition from top-down to bottom-up communication. The layers in between might even be more interesting. It is a quite theoretical model but I think it is also a fun presentation.
This presentation presents my issues and questions I had when confronted with the question: "what is TOTAL?". This is a pecha kucha.presentation and it is in dutch. If requested I will translate in english.

4. Zondag 25 april was er een
documentaire van Zembla (VARA) op
televisie. Het was een bijzondere
aflevering en ik was benieuwd wat
dit aan online buzz zou opleveren.
5. De buzz bleek behoorlijk en de
opmerkingen waren soms erg
grappig. Maar tevens waren de
opmerkingen heel kritisch. Vooral
naar Zembla..
6. In een paar uur werden er zo’n 500
tweets de wereld in geholpen. Het
was dus een behoorlijke buzz. .
7. De buzz hield echter snel op. De
volgende ochtend waren er nog wat
uizendinggemist-kijkers.maar
Zembla en Wilders werden daarna
niet meer zoveel getweet.
≈ 500 (in 2 uur)
<100
<50
8. Blijkbaar was men snel uitgekeken
op de aflevering. Ik ben daarom
gaan kijken naar de teneur van de
tweets over de aflevering. Per 15
tweets heb ik gekeken of men
positief, negatief of neutraal was.
positief
neutraal
negatief
15 tweets
9. Dit leverde bijgaand beeld op. In het
begin was men neutraal, daarna
positief om vrij snel behoorlijk
negatief te worden over het
programma.
10. Bijzondere was wel dat de tweets
over Wilders EN Zembla snel
uitdoofden maar over Wilders hield
de online discussie aan. Er was
blijkbaar weer een nieuw brandje. > 1000
Er bleef getwittert worden.
> 750
≈ 500 (in 2 uur)

11. En Wilders had in die periode maar
één tweet de wereld in geholpen.
Hij schitterde in de discussie door
afwezigheid. Vandaar de titel:
gebrul van een stille.
12. Het aantal twittervolgers groeide in
dezelfde periode gestaag. Met een
lichte versnelling na de Zembla
uitzending.
14. Tweets met Zembla en Wilders
bereikten zelfs ruim 20 duizend
mensen per 50 tweets! Met
ongeveer 500 tweets betekent dat
ruim 200.000 mensen bereik binnen
een paar uur!
geenstijl.nl erg kritisch was over
Zembla.
18. En de Telegraaf ook. Er woedde op
die site een flinke discussie. Vooral
veel aanhangers van Wilders zagen
hun kans schoon om weee flink van
leer te trekken.
19. Maar ook de Volkskrant - normaal
kritikaster van Wilders - was nu
negatief over Zembla.
20. Eindresultaat: een lachende Wilders
die zonder veel moeite weer
aandacht heeft, meer twittervolges
en naar mijn idee een positief effect
onder de eigen schare.

22. Tijd om te kijken naar hoe alle
lijsttrekkers het doen op Twitter..
23. Daarna direct gekeken naar hoe de
partijen (collectief) op Twitter naar
buiten treden. De rechterzijde bleek
meer collectief te twitteren en de
linkerzijde meer via de lijstrekker.
24. Dat vroeg om een nadere analyse.
En dus het aantal tweets per partij
op een grafiek gezet. Links twittert
# tweets
veel meer dan rechts! Ongeveer 70
om 30 procent!
30% 70%
25. Het aantal twittervolgers is wat
meer genivelleerd. De verhouding
links staat tot rechts is 55% om
# followers
45%.
45% 55%
26. Maar het bereik - de tweetreach -
van beide zijden van het politieke
spectrum is gelijk.
# tweetreach
50% 50%
27. Combineer ik deze grafieken dan zie
je dat alsnog links meer twitters, gecombineerd
vandaar dat Wilders beter kan
zeggen “twitter is een linkse hobby”.
Tevens zie je dat rechts efficiënter
genoemd mag worden met
betrekking tot tweetreach per
activiteit.
40% 60%
30. @FemkeHalsema mengde zich ook
in de Zembla-Wilders discussie. Ze
was kritisch over Zembla en zei
niets over Wilders. Ze werd direct
geretweet maar ook werd ze
kritisch benaderd: “hielp ze nu
Wilders?”. Wat mij betreft was ze
gewoon goed kritisch en inhoudelijk.
En dat zou iedereen moeten doen!
33. @FemkeHalsema heeft ook de
meeste twittervolgers en tweets.
following 451
followers 45.932
listed 2.139
tweets 2.963
34. En ze heeft veruit het grootste
bereik van alle politieke partijen en
lijsttrekkers. Veel meenr dan Zembla
en Wilders bereikten met één
uitzending in dezelfde periode.
