Introduction
“Enough!”
“What’re we are going to do next?”
Since the government plays the role as the representative of capitalism under globalization period by using strategies and methods to seize the power of state authorities, and then trying to control, monitor, intervene in and manage both directly and indirectly to oppress the labor movement to benefit the inter- ests of employers, workers with no bargaining power live with fear that they will be unemployed one day. They have to surrender to tyranny in unexpected ways and cannot plan for their own future.
The current laws are also obsolete. The more they have been amended, the more problems they have caused for workers. The procedures to bring jus- tice to workers are so slow. So, it’s time for us to say “Enough!”
“Enough” is the book written to reveal the unfair facts repeatedly hap- pening to workers by using the characters whose names come from the core elements of labor organization administration.
“Enough!” is worth reading as it discloses all facts about a labor situa- tion where workers show great effort to fight against employers’ attempt to break trade unions every way and sometimes the employers use the methods that are out of the ordinary. Readers will understand why unions which are worldwide accepted and allowed by the Constitution are undermined and weakened. Some- times, workers have to sacrifice even their blood and tears in exchange for unions.
The book contains the information for you to further thinking and seeking solutions for all parties in the Thai labor movement and the relevant state agencies in order to create peace and morality which will help resist capital- ism.

A Survey on Features Combination for Image WatermarkingEditor IJMTER
As the internet users are increasing day by day it is easy to transfer digital data. By this new
problem of data piracy is increasing. For this different methods of watermarking are developed for
protecting the digital data like video, audio, image, etc. Out of these many researcher are working on
image watermarking field from last few decades. This paper focus on the image watermarking features
combination with various techniques which are broadly categorized into spatial and frequency domain.
Many features are studied with their different requirement and functionality. It has been observed that
most of the researcher combines many features for achieving the prior goal of the watermark that is to
embed watermark and extract from the carrier image in presence of different attack.

1.) Labor unions have existed in the United States since the birth of the country, tracing their origins back to the 18th-century Industrial Revolution in Europe. Labor unions have the goal of both obtaining pay and working conditions that satisfy their members within. They also want to give their members a voice in decisions that are directly affecting them. Traditionally, they obtain these goals by gaining power in numbers. The more workers who belong to a union, the greater the union’s power. More members translates into greater ability to halt or disrupt production. Specific statistics show the advantages workers in unions have over non unionized workers. Workers with strong unions have been able to set industry standards for wages and benefits that help all workers, both union and non unionized. I am of the opinion that when employees are in a better work environment/condition and get paid a good salary, perform better at their job. The disadvantage would be that the dissatisfaction can lead to high turnover and unemployment.
The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored both the importance of unions in giving workers a collective voice in the workplace and the urgent need to reform U.S. Even though it may seem as if it is difficult or a hassle it becomes worth it at the end. Me personally, I am not in a union, but if given the opportunity to do so at my job I definitely would take advantage and jump on it!
2.) The dynamic for workers shifted greatly over the course of the late 19th and early 20th century. In the early 1900's workers had very few rights. Child labor was common, and worker safety was not a concern for employers. However, after Upton Sinclair published The Jungle in 1906 and the tragedy at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory in 1911, the tide began to turn in favor of workers. Labor unions play an instrumental role in these changes. They helped to sway public opinion by exposing the exploitation of workers. They also helped to bring together large groups of people who were powerless and poor. As individuals, these people did not have the influence or resources to fight against wealthy employers.
I have never joined a union. I work in construction management and its not an option for me. My father was a union member, and the benefits were immeasurable. We had access to top medical and dental benefits at reasonable prices. He was compensated for time worked and given enough paid vacation to rest and have family time. For having a blue collar job, my dad was able to provide a middle class life for our family. The down side of unions is people abuse the protections and don't put in their best effort at work. They use the union as a cover for their antics and companies are stuck with an underperforming worker. It takes only a few bad workers to soil the image of an entire union. I feel if they are using their influence correctly, unions are a valuable and positive institution, but workers should never be forced to join.

The market is driven by a variety of factors, making India an attractive destination for pharmaceutical companies and researchers. India's vast and diverse patient population, cost-effective operational environment, and a large pool of skilled medical professionals contribute significantly to the market's growth. Additionally, increasing government support in streamlining regulations and the growing prevalence of lifestyle diseases further propel the clinical trials market.
Growing Prevalence of Lifestyle Diseases
The rising incidence of lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer is a major trend driving the clinical trials market in India. These conditions necessitate the development and testing of new treatment methods, creating a robust demand for clinical trials. The increasing burden of these diseases highlights the need for innovative therapies and underscores the importance of India as a key player in global clinical research.

1. What have unions ever done for us?
The Weekend
Sick Pay
Protectionfrom Discrimination
Better Terms and Conditions
Health and Safety Protection
2. UNION MYTH BUSTERs
MYTH: If you strike you don’t get paid.
FACT: We have strike fund to help those low paid workers who
may get into difficulty when we take long term action.
MYTH: We can go on strike “at the drop of a hat”.
FACT: The UK has one of the most restrictive trade union laws
in Europe, and this is likely to get worse with the new
legislation the government is threatening to put through
around strike ballots. At present we have to give at least 7
days notice to our employer for a strike to be legal.
MYTH: Unions are destroying the economy.
FACT: There is a strong link between strong trade unions, low
inequality and strong collective bargaining agreements that
reduce the gender pay gap. Union representatives actually
SAVE employers money.
3. UNION MYTH BUSTERs
MYTH: Unions just organise strikes.
FACT: We don’t just organise strikes – we provide learning
for our representatives and members, support social
injustices and bargain for better policies and procedures
on your behalf.
Check out Unison’s website (www.unison.org.uk) for more information.
MYTH: Unions are subsidised by the Government.
FACT: We are not subsidised by the government. We do
have paid facility time for our representatives but we also
save employers money. Research by the Labour party
showed that when you include the private sector, facility
time costs £431m annually. But it also showed that
facility time saved anything from £476m to £1.1bn. (Quote
from Ellie Mae O’Hagan, The Guardian, 13.11.14)
4. So what have UNIONS done for us?
Our aim is to protect working class people!
Here are some examples of what unions have done for us…
Paid Holidays
Paid Sick Leave
Eight Hour Days
Ended Child Labour
Fought for Equal Pay
Better Health and Safety Regulations
Fought Workplace Discrimination
Women’s Rights
5. So Why Join a Union?
What if you are pushed too hard at work? Or you are struggling with a
disability and your manager is being inflexible? Or maybe you don’t have the
right skills to do your job?…
What do you do?
“The trade union movement represents the organised economic
power of the workers... It is in reality the most potent and the
most direct social insurance the workers can establish.”
Samuel Gompers, Union Leader (1850 – 1924)
6. You could keep quiet and put up with it.
This may sound like the easiest option, but it could lead to stress as the
situation continues or gets worse and could cause you to go off sick;
with the ultimate worse case scenario being that you lose your job.
You could go to your manager and complain.
This may work but it could also change little or worse make you look
like a trouble maker.
Or.. You could get all your colleagues together in
order to gain more credibility and be more
protected, by submitting a group grievance with
the help of the union.
This action would be taken more seriously and is the basis of a Union
Movement and what it is all about.
7. So Why is it in Your best interest to
be in a union?
In a unionised workplace, You are:
More likely to earn more year on year
More likely get equal pay
Entitled to more holiday leave
Provided with better and more frequent
training
Entitled to more maternity & paternity leave
Less likely to be injured at work, but if you
are you will receive better compensation.
Less likely to be discriminated against
Helping to keep public services public
Less likely to be dismissed from your job
8. UNISON at NUH
We are the biggest union at NUH with nearly a third of
employees being UNISON members.
We have 5 seats on Staff Partnership group which
negotiates, on your behalf, with Trust Directors
and the Chief Executive.
We have approximately 30 representatives at both sites
supporting all NUH Staff, as well as staff working for private
providers that support NUH.
All of our representatives are volunteers, are elected into post
and are committed to improving the workplace.
9. A Word From Our Members
“I used to work in the private sector and got my
days changed with no notice – I had no where
to go as there was no union to speak on my
behalf, this made me want to join Unison as
soon as I changed jobs”
“I joined Unison because at a time when living
standards are low and the government wants
to cut vital services, we need to stand together
and fight for what is right and just.”
10. “I became a UNISON rep to fight the many threatened
redundancies during the merger of City Hospital and
QMC. Was jumping up and down outside QMC main entrance
with a banner and someone said – you ought to be a rep”
“I joined Unison during the “Agenda for Change” process. I
found the Union invaluable in explaining what the agenda for
change process meant for employees like me and since then it
has continued to keep me informed about other negotiations /
changes, that are going on within the trust that could affect me.
It is also reassuring to know that there is advice and support out
there (should I need it) for the “little person” like me not fluent
in HR/ management jargon, who is fighting our corner to try
and ensure that all employees enjoy a pleasant, productive,
working life.”
A Word From Our Members
11. “I was worried about bullying and accusations
made against me at work. I knew that unions
were in place to protect staff from unfair
treatment and wanted to get some 'back up' in
case I did have to go to a meeting with
management. I chose UNISON because they
were the biggest union at my workplace and I
saw a lot of them on stalls and walkabouts.”
