It should better be called Resurrection Day.
The reason we celebrate Resurrection Day is because
it marks the day that Jesus Rose from the Dead to
defeat death (both physical and spiritual death) which
is the inheritance of all mankind.
Without it, there would be no hope for any of
mankind, we would all perish – we would die
physically and we would have to be put in the lake of
fire forever with no release.
