The document discusses converting the WHO Drug database into linked open data. It currently contains over 2.6 million medicinal product entries from 141 countries. If converted to linked data, queries could be used to retrieve standardized product information from a SPARQL endpoint using HTTP URIs. The next steps proposed are continuing with text files, developing a RESTful API, and implementing JSON-LD and RDF formats with Linked Data Fragments and a SPARQL query interface. Feedback is requested on how to progress the conversion in a manageable, step-wise manner.
