21. Who moved my TestManager? Rational TestManager timelines… Nov 08 Rational will be making an official announcement stating that TestManager will be deprecated from Robot approx 4/30/09. All known existing TestManager customers will be contacted. 28 Oct 08 Version 8.0 of Rational Functional Tester no longer includes a free entitlement to TestManager. TestManager is only available as an embedded component of Robot 2009 24 Nov 08 Version 7.0.2 of Rational Robot will be released, including TestManager. This will be the last release of Robot that includes TestManager. The RFT+ bundle will be refreshed at this time and will still include TestManager as part of Robot 7.0.2. We will be working to move all Robot Customers to this release of Robot as quickly as possible, and prior to 4/30/09. 30 Apr 09 TestManager is removed from the market. A new version of Robot will be released WITHOUT TestManager. The RFT+ bundle will be refreshed to include Robot 7.0.3. Customers will have no way to obtain TestManager through any software purchases from Rational. 2010 Rational no longer supports TestManager though tech support, hotfixes, or any releases. 2008 2010

22. Who moved my RMT? Rational Manual Tester timelines… 28 Oct 08 Version 8.0 of Rational Functional Tester no longer includes Rational Manual Tester in the RFT package. No version 8.0 of Rational Manual Tester was released. Rational Manual Tester v7.x still available for sale. 13 Jan 09 Rational will make an End of Market Announcement regarding Rational Manual Tester. 13 Apr 09 Rational Manual Tester is removed from the market. Rational Manual Tester can no longer be purchased as a product or in any bundle. Apr 2012 Rational no longer supports Rational Manual Tester though tech support, hotfixes, or any releases. 2008 2012 2009

Rational ClearQuest TestManager timelines… Q4 08 Rational will be making an official announcement stating that the test management capabilities will be deprecated from ClearQuest in the next major release.
