Leland Turner has taken vacations to several different
parts of the world, including the Yucatan Peninsula in
Southeast Mexico.
The Yucatan Peninsula is a popular vacation
destination thanks to its year-round mild weather.
However, it still has high and low seasons. Typically,
the area’s high season runs from mid-December
through April. Temperatures average around 75
degrees, and many tourists flock to the peninsula to
get away from their local cold weather, meaning that
the area is more crowded and prices are higher during
this time.

3. Yucatan Peninsula
 Fishing, snorkeling, and other water activities are best
during these months, and the calm weather makes
visiting the on-land ruins nicer.
Meanwhile, the Yucatan Peninsula’s low season
roughly covers the rest of the year, from April to early
December. These months offer less crowds and lower
prices, though some areas, such as the Riviera Maya,
remain busy because of their popularity among
European and Mexican tourists. Summer and fall
months may see more rain than winter and early
spring. Another weather-related consideration is that
hurricane season runs from June through November.
Additionally, humidity is higher and temperatures are
around 10 degrees warmer during the summer.
