What I've learnt from Mapping
1. Mappingof title sequences
I have recentlydone mappingsonthree titlesequencesonsome popularfilms;thishastaughtme
there are many titlesthatcome up withinasequence.Inthe three sequencesthatIhave mapped
out there hasbeenupto 20-30 titlesforeachsequence.WhenI startto produce myown opening
sequence Ican alsoadd inat least 15-20 titlesincludingaddingthe productscompanies,actors,
memberswhohave helpedwiththe openingsequence etc.
Doingthese mappingsequenceshasmade me realise whatIneedtoadd in myownproductionand
has givenme a clearvisionof whatit mightlooklike.Mappingoutthese openingsequenceshas
helpedme,insteadof justwritingaboutitbecause itgivesme andmygroup more of an ideawhat
titlesshouldlooklike andhowImightput across myideas. Each openingsequence wasroughly
around2-3 minuteswhichgivesme anideaof how longthese creditsshouldbe. Mostof these title
sequencesgointhisorder;

my openingsequence itwillbe atthe beginningleadinguptothe director’sname etc.
