● Not many organizations start from having goals, but just targets for
transforming to digital
● The transformation is bigger than they imagine
● Just a few organizations take business agility into account when doing a digital
transformation, thus the results are unsatisfactory and fragile
● Usually management is not ready to leave the control the the teams
● Digital transformation will happen, and organizations that fail will go bankrupt

9. Advice
1. Start from the user’s needs. Understand the user. Don’t be smug that you know
from the beginning what they need.
2. Transform slowly the organization to be able to deliver value to the user
3. Include both digital and business agility in the plan
4. Don’t forget about the people involved; they should have a big say in the change
5. Find external consultants that have done this before, otherwise you will be
sorry after 2-3 years of failure
6. It’s more difficult than you think :)
