   Companies use the internet, especially social media,
   to let the world know of their commitment to
   enhancing the community, the citizenry and by
   extension the country. The internet helps to deliver
   profit to organizations and, at the same time,
   minimize environmental impact. But this is NOT all.

GREENPEACE

Nestle has now adopted and announced a “zero
deforestation” policy in partnership with The
Forest Trust (TFT), which will initially focus on
amending its palm oil purchasing practices. The
move follows a full blown Facebook attack
initiated by Greenpeace earlier this year.

diabetes education, research and prevention with a
donation of $5 million after learning that the incidence

Repsol has gone beyond compliance to provide farmers with
skills needed to produce more so they can make a living and
not just fish for one day. They have partnered with HADCO to
provide a market for the farmers and showing them how they
can obtain good prices for their products.
