Abstract
Every culture has its own mythology – a set of stories that involve heroic
characters, mythical beasts, gods, advanced technology, and fantastic
locations. While their validity is questionable, their existence shows the
incredible fascination that we, as humans, have for these stories. Indian
mythology contains a vast and ancient array of tales, which are
stimulating, entertaining, and have a moral lesson behind them.

2. What attracted me in
Mythological Stories ?
Children should see the stories as reflections of their own mind, emotions, ideas,
and conflicts. There is no god and demon outside us, no hero or villain in the past.
It's all here and now, in our heart and mind, and in the hearts and minds of people
around us.

Mythology Myth means a folklore genre which consists of
narration that play a fundamental role in the society. The main characters
in a myth usually consists of god , demigods or supernatural humans.
Hello this is KIRTISH DUDWADKAR . and welcome to my second
blog “what attracted me in mythological stories ? “.
There are many folklore in the Hindu mythology. Like {DASHA
AVTARS} , {MAHABHARATA} , {RAMAYANS} and Etc. However some
Mythological Stories has been supported with scientific evidence.
mythology will help them learn about their culture, faith, language,
and ethical beliefs. You can also create some fond memories with your
children by narrating these stories to them, which will not only develop
their imaginative skills, but also linguistic abilities and good values.
Let starts the stories so hear are they :-
1] The Dedication of Ekalavya :-

3. Ekalavya was a young boy living with his tribe, deep in the forest. His aim
in life was to become the finest archer the world had ever seen. However,
when he asked to become Drona’s student, he was refused, due to the low
status of his birth. Despite this, Ekalavya created a statue of Drona and
practised archery before it, until he became incredibly skilled. However,
when Drona encountered him and learned of his accomplishments, he was
afraid that a tribal boy would surpass his best student, Arjuna. He
demanded that Ekalavya sacrifice his own right thumb as payment for
learning under his name. Without questioning Drona, Ekalavya
immediately cut off his right thumb and gave it to him, and was, therefore,
unable to become the best archer in the world.
2] The Faith of Prahlada :-
Prahlada, the son of the demon Hiranyakashipu, was a great Vishnu
devotee. However, his arrogant father hated Vishnu, as he considered
himself to be the one true God, due to the boon he had received from Lord

4. Brahma. He tried to have Prahlada killed by many methods, but Prahlada
was always saved by Vishnu. After Hiranyakashipu’s last attempt on
Prahlada’s life, he got killed by Narasimha, the man-lion incarnation of
Vishnu.
3] The Integrity of Rama :-
Everyone knows of the Ramayana, the epic which chronicles the stories of
the sixth incarnation of Mahavishnu, Lord Rama. In the Ramayana, Rama is
forced to leave his kingdom and go into exile with his brother, Lakshmana,
and wife, Sita. Near the end of his exile, Ravana, the king of Lanka, kidnaps
his wife and holds her hostage. Facing all terrible odds, Rama manages to
fight Ravana and his enormous army, and defeat them, rescuing his wife.
4] The Story of Krishna Avatar :-
Krishna is another popular deity, and is a clear representation of advanced
human civilization. Recent excavations of Dwarka city confirm the well
planned construction of cities, towns and streets. They also show the
change of culture.Krishna is the supreme God in his own right. He killed
Kansa and saved the people from Kansa’s evil doing. He also assisted
Pandavas in Mahabharta and gave the world most valuable teaching in the
form of “Bhagvad Gita”.

5. 5] The Story of Kalki Avatar:-
The last form is the final life form where the sages surpass the modern
theory of evolution, and predict the future. Point to keep in mind is that we
are looking at all the life forms that dominated planet earth since millions of
years, so the question is what would the final dominant species look like?
According to mythology tenth Avatar, called Kalki is yet to happen and
when this occurs when the whole life on earth will move towards its end.
He would be here to restart the whole cycle, so that it starts again. Species
will be disappearing and the world will come to an end after which it will
again start from stage first.
5] The Story of Maharishi Ved Vyas &
lord Shree Ganesh :-
According to Hindu scriptures, the epic Mahabharata has been written by
Shriganesh. According to the popular story, before writing the
Mahabharata, he had placed a condition in front of Maharishi Ved Vyas,
little is known about it. Shriganesh Ji had told Maharishi Ved Vyas that if my
writing does not stop even for a moment while writing, I can become the
author of this book. Then Maharishi Ved Vyas Ji agreed to this condition and
told Shree Ganesh that whatever you say, do not write it without

6. understanding it. Then Ved Vyas Ji would say some such verses in between
that it would take some time for Shree Ganesh to understand them.
Meanwhile, Maharishi Vedvyas used to do other work.
