2. There’s coming a day when
no heartaches shall come
No more clouds in the sky
No more tears to dim the eye
All is peace forever more
On that happy golden shore
What a day, glorious day that
will be
3. What a day that will be when my
Jesus I shall see
When I look upon His face the
one who saved me by His grace
When He takes me by the hand
and leads me to the promised
land
What a day, glorious day that
will be
4. There’ll be no sorrows there
And no more burdens to bear
No more sickness, no pain
No more parting over there
And forever I will be with the
one who died for me
What a day, glorious day that
will be
5. What a day that will be when my
Jesus I shall see
When I look upon His face the
one who saved me by His grace
When He takes me by the hand
and leads me to the promised
land
What a day, glorious day that
will be
6. What a day that will be when my
Jesus I shall see
When I look upon His face the
one who saved me by His grace
When He takes me by the hand
and leads me to the promised
land
What a day, glorious day that
will be
8. Alas! And did my Savior
bleed
And did my Sovereign
die?
Would He devote that
sacred head
For such a worm as I?
9. At the cross, at the cross
Where I first saw the light,
And the burden of my heart
rolled away,
It was there by faith I
received my sight,
And now I am happy all the
day!
10. Was it for crimes that I
had done
He groaned upon the
tree?
Amazing pity! Grace
unknown!
And love beyond degree!
11. At the cross, at the cross
Where I first saw the light,
And the burden of my heart
rolled away,
It was there by faith I
received my sight,
And now I am happy all the
day!
12. But drops of grief can
ne’er repay
The debt of love I owe:
Here, Lord, I give my self
away
’Tis all that I can do.
13. At the cross, at the cross
Where I first saw the light,
And the burden of my heart
rolled away,
It was there by faith I
received my sight,
And now I am happy all the
day!
15. Genesis 6:5-8
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was
great in the earth, and that every imagination of
the thoughts of his heart was only evil
continually.
6 And it repented the LORD that he had made
man on the earth, and it grieved him at his
heart.
7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I
have created from the face of the earth; both
man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the
fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have
made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
