The STaR Chart is a tool used by Gilmore Elementary to evaluate their progress in four key technology areas: teaching and learning, educator preparation, leadership and infrastructure. Campus data from 2008-2009 showed developing progress in the first three areas and advanced progress in infrastructure. Compared to state data, Gilmore was on par in most areas except leadership, where the state was advanced. The summary identifies infrastructure as a campus strength and the first three areas as needs for improvement. The document recommends continuing education, motivating technology use, creativity and risk-taking to enhance progress.
