I developed strategic programs and publications for broader, campus-wide engagement in
international programs under the then-four person Center for International Programs and
Studies. Specifically I instituted the University’s charter in ISEP, and laid groundwork for all
student exchanges (then handled by language departments) under the CIPS umbrella. I
accomplished this by working with these departments and Registrar to make sure ISEP credits
transferred, and by creating two campus-wide publications, Periscope and The Mizzou
International Directory, reporting to Vice Provost Jeffrey Chinn.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
1989-Present - I have restored several dozen residential properties around Charleston, SC and
performed consultations on several in NSW, Australia, many with heritage status. I have
received the Carolopolis Award for Historic Preservation for my restoration work.
2011-2012 –I conducted the first comprehensive study of Australia’s occupational health and
safety laws, and am the first USYD student awarded the MPL for original research.
2009-2010 – I earned my property clients, an average 98.6% of list price in a depreciating market.
2008 – I created the only real estate booth (for Keller Williams Realty) at the Charleston Home
Builders Home Show, delivering sponsors, and >200 warm sales leads to fellow agents.
2006-2008 – I was one of a small number of active parent volunteers, founding the Academic
magnet High School Raptor Youth Rowing Club, and coordinated all regional regatta travel.
2007- Delegate for Gulf Coast Recovery selectee by South Carolina Association of Realtors and
recipient of the Alabama Governor’s Honorary Colonel Award for my post-hurricane work.
1998-2005 – Recipient of numerous national; regional awards for property sales performance.
1997-2003 –Oversaw 3 new builds and wrote first neighborhood building standards as
Architectural Review Board Chair for Fiddlers Marsh HOA.

1990-1992 –I led a grassroots neighbourhood revitalization effort resulting in the formation of the
Elliotborough Neighborhood Association, $100,000 in initial public works investments, and
partnerships with police, YMCA and funders to: implement 45 tree plantings, and a youth
training program. Awarded Mayoral Joseph C. Reilly’s Citizens Participation Award.
1988 –I implemented a new partnership between the University of Missouri and the Republic of
Korea Ministry of Culture for a multi-event, two week, celebration of the Olympics.
