Reducing consumption of fatty animal products and having a balanced diet can help prevent overexposure to dioxins, which are very persistent environmental pollutants.

Pollution is caused by big companies producing highly toxic materials derived from oil during manufacturing. This leads to consequences like thousands of animal deaths, global warming, holes in the ozone layer, food contamination, trash mountains, and deforestation. To avoid pollution, we must plant more trees, create better materials than plastic, avoid fuel, separate recyclables from non-recyclables, and not burn trash.

Istituto Comprensivo Albert Schweitzer
Our school is named "A. Schweitzer" after Albert Schweitzer, a doctor and philosopher born in 1815 who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952 for his humanitarian work before passing away in 1965. The school has both a primary and secondary school led by Head Teacher Mrs. Marina Crema, with classrooms on the first two floors and laboratories for science, IT, art, and music on the third floor. Students study various subjects and have clubs or extra lessons after school dismisses at 1pm, going Monday through Saturday with some playing musical instruments like the flute, piano, and drums.

Termoli is a town in Italy that offers several tourist attractions including public beaches with bars, watersports, an old village with historic houses and buildings like the Svevo castle and Romanesque cathedral. It is also known for high-quality seafood restaurants. Shopping options include boutiques, souvenir shops, and cafes located along the main street and in the old village as well as larger shopping malls outside the town center. Termoli has a nice mix of stores, cafes and views of the coastal town from the popular main street.

All four schools run Monday through Friday and have similar start and end times, as well as not requiring uniforms but having dress codes and lockers.

- 1. THE NAME OF OUR SCHOOL IS “ ISTITUTO COMPRENSIVO SCHWEITZER ” AND IT’S A SECONDARY SCHOOL. IT’S SITUATED IN AN EXCELLENT POSITION, IN THE TOWN CENTER NOT FAR FROM THE TRAIN STATION. IT’S A VERY BIG SCHOOL , BUT IT’S OLD. IT CONSISTS OF THREE BLOCKS CONNECTED BY AN INTERNAL COURTYARD. THE SCHOOL FACES TWO STREETS. THERE IS A LARGE HALL, A CONFERENCE ROOM, A BIG SPORT HALL, THE CLASSROOMS AND THE TOILETS. THERE IS ALSO THE HEAD THEACHER’S OFFICE, THE STAFF ROOM, A SCIENCE LAB, A MUSIC ROOM AND A COMPUTER LAB. .
- 2. WE GO TO SCHOOL FROOM MONDAY TO SATURDAY. WE START SCHOOL AT 8 a.m. AND FINISH IT AT 1 p.m. WE HAVE 5 LESSONS OF 60 MINUTES, BUT SOMETIMES WE HAVE DOUBLE LESSONS. WE HAVE A BREAK AT 10.50 a.m., IT LASTS 10 MINUTES. WE HAVE LUNCH AT HOME. WE DON’T WEAR A SCHOOL UNIFORM,BUT THERE IS A DRESS CODE IN OUR SCHOOL, FOR EXAMPLE WE CAN’T WEAR SHORT OR RIPPED PANTS. WE HAVE GOT A DIFFERENT TEACHER FOR EACH SUBJECT. WE STUDY 15 SUBJECTS: MATHS, SCIENCE, ART, ITALIAN, GRAMMAR, HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY, MUSIC, D.T, P.E,R.E AND FOREIGN LANGUAGES ( ENGLISH, FRENCH AND SPANISH ). .
