A glimpsed of western visayas

1. Antique is located in the western side of Panay
Island. The provinces of Aklan, Capiz, and
Iloilo are its neighbors in the east. The Sulu Sea
borders the province in the west. Terrain is
mostly hilly and mountainous with narrow
coastal plains. Notable mountains include Mt.
Nangtud (2,048 meters high), Mt. Llorente
(1,479), and Mt. Inaman (1,350). Seasons are
not very pronounced in the northern part of
the province but the southern part is dry from
November to April and wet during the rest of
the year.
