1. Welcome to the online safety coaching module for teachers.
Please feel free to navigate this website on your own as use it as
an inservice training at your school. In exploring this module
please follow the steps below. These directions will help to lead
the instruction efficiently.
Step 1:
First, please observe the website under the “Content” tab.
View the “Home” tab within the website and watch the activation
video. Then, please review the research behind this coaching
module by clicking on the “Research Studies” tab. Next, look at
the “Topics to Cover” tab to review the topics within this
coaching module. Finally, click on the “Needs Assessment” tab to
take the needs assessment survey to assure that this coaching
module is for you and those to be trained.
Step 2:
Next, click on the “Learning Objectives” tab to view the glog.
This glog showcases the goals of this online safety coaching
module for teachers.
Step 3:
Third, click on the “Instructional Strategies” tab to view an
overview of the strategies that are used in the lesson about online
safety for teachers.
Step 4:
After that, print out the documents under both the
“Materials/Resources” and “Assessment” tab.
Step 5:
Then, click on the “Lesson” tab and scroll through the PowerPoint
provided. This is the lesson about online safety for teachers and
will utilize the documents that were printed in the prior step.
Step 6:
Finally, click on the “Course Evaluation” tab and respond to the
questions appropriately.
