Dr. Ciuinal J. Lewis has been appointed the new CEO for Holy
Family Ministries. Ciuinal has more than 25 years of professional
experience in the areas of human services, education and public
health management. She earned her Ph.D. in community
psychology from National Louis University.

Most recently Dr. Lewis served as the CEO of New Age Services Corporation, a non-
profit behavioral health provider on Chicago's Westside. While at New Age, she served
as the Principal Investigator for the very competitive Substance Abuse Mental Health
Services Administration Minority AIDS Initiative Continuity of Care Grant Award. She is
a recipient of the WestsideMinisters Coalition Award for Outstanding CommunityPartner
and was a featured speaker for Meharry Medical College National HIV Disparities
Conference. Ciuinal is also an adjunct professor at National Louis University.
Dr. Lewis joins Holy Family at a time when the organization is a top community leader in
quality education. Under her leadership, she will build on HFM's key positioning in
Chicago to broaden and expand accessibility, and strengthen visibility. She lives in the
western suburbs with her husband and two children.
Former CEO Dr. Susan M. Work retires this year
after completing 28 years of dedicated service to Holy Family,
leaving a legacy of excellence and growth for the students of Holy
Family. She will continue on the Board of Directors, and play an
active role with key organizational initiatives.
