Weekly market view
Markets were attacked by bears last week and selling was seen in every
session due to global weakness and depreciating rupee which made the
indices to close 4% down. Nifty future on weekly charts after forming
higher highs and higher lows indicated correction previous week and hence
nifty strongly surpassed important support levels. Worse than expected IIP
data may also hit the markets and so 8100 may act as crucial level for nifty.
If it closes below it on daily basis then further selling pressure may drag it
to deeper supports of 8000-7970. On higher side, 8300 is seen as
immediate resistance sustaining above which can indicate some strength.
Key events to be eyed WPI on Monday and FOMC Statement.
