LANTERN MAKING
(Recycled Project from Plastic
Bottle)
Needed materials and tools
are:
• Plastic Bottles
• Yarn
• Scotch tape
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Rubber Band
• Sequence/buttones/glitters and
other materials for your design
Step 1: Mark 2 1/2 inches from the top then cut.
Step 2: At the bottom mark 1 inch.
Step 3: Cut the plastic bottle into a star shape.
Step 4: Cut each part of the star into four
equal parts.
Step 5: Do the same steps with another
plastic bottle.
Step 6: Connect the bottoms of the two
plastic bottles with tape.
Step 7: Connect all the parts of the two
plastic bottles with tape.
Step 8: Group the part of the plastic bottles
in five and tie it with a rubber band.
Step 9: Make a hole in the plastic bottle
caps.
Step 10: Put string on plastic bottle caps, tie it to
two sides of your lantern and apply your
desired design.
