WebWMS is a free WMS software solution developed by Logistic Specialist to address the high costs and limitations of other WMS solutions. It was first released in February 2018 and additional features have since been added. WebWMS can be used on a company's own server or in the cloud without licensing fees. It allows for inventory management, order picking across multiple warehouses and branches, and flexible configuration. WebWMS aims to provide an affordable WMS option that saves on hardware costs by allowing the use of mobile phones as barcode scanners.

- Logistic Specialist is specialized in logistic and operational
consultancy with more than 12 years’ experience;
- Working with our clients we saw different WMS solution and
we face with their higher costs and limitation;
- In 2017 we decide to use our consultancy experience in
warehousing build some specific software solution;
- In November 2017 we build WebInventory – smart inventory
solution which helps you to finish inventory faster and easier
using a mobile phone;
- In December 2017 we start to develop WebWMS – free WMS
solution and we put WebInventory in WebWMS as a module;
- At the end of February 2018 we put on the market WebWMS
solution and we finish development and testing the solution;
- In august 2018 we develop a new module on WebWMS. This
module helps clients to optimize their stock and place order to
the supplier;

3. WebWMS
- WebWMS is free, that’s means that this solution is offer to you
without pay any license having in the same time full
functionality
- WebWMS is build using web technology and can be install on
your own server or into the cloud (solution is a cloud native,
this means that you can move in cloud anytime without any
modification);
- WebWMS do not require server license if it is hosted on Linux
webserver, but it can be hosted also on Microsoft Windows
servers (is this case you must buy license)
- WebWMS can use mobile phones as a bar code scanner (in
company where speed is not a issue), can be used with
Android bar code scanners, with Wndows bar code scanner or
with any bar code scanner that will launch into the future with
any operating system (WebWMS is future safe)
- Maintenance tax is not mandatory if you use WebWMS, it is
your option if you want to pay or not, in any case we offer you
technical and logistic support;
- Implementation of WebWMS takes 40 days and is contractual
limited to maximum 14.000 euro.

- WebWMS works with multiple branches and multiple
warehouses into the same branches (once implemented
WebWMS can be extend very easy to other branches or other
warehouses without a new implementation process). This
functionality is useful to manufacturing companies;
- WebWMS works with complex products. This functionality is
useful to manufacturers or to FMCG company (can handle
promotion products like 2+1);
- WebWMS works with same products from multiple suppliers
(this functionality is useful to retailers).
- WebWMS can handle multiple barcode for the same products
(the same products can be deliver in multiple supermarkets
and each supermarket need their own barcode);
- WebWMS works with fixed cells and dynamic cells. In case of
fixed cells WebWMS can block some cells to hosted specific
products;
- WebWMS is multilanguage and each user can use solution in
their own language. New language can be adding very easy.
- Zero picking quantity is a smart function. This function block
cell with zero products for future suggestion in picking.

- In WebWMS each reception can be prioritized and we treat
reception at level line not like a document, each document can
be received by 1 or more people (in this case you will use
experience people to receive “delicate” products without block
them with other products) ;
- WebWMS have 3 picking process: simple (order cy order),
consolidate (multiple order is consolidated to a route for
example, in this case the products for all orders are picked
cumulated) and multi order picking (in this case picker takes
multiple order and pick in the same time each order in different
case, this features is very useful because saves picking time ).
All this function can be used in parallel if the warehouse
manager decides this;
- In WebWMS you can pick complex products as a products or
you can choose to pick component products of complex
products (you can choose this with a single click)
- WebWMS check stock availability when you insert an order
and let you insert the order only if you have in stock enough
available quantity for the products.
