For someone who has never heard of the waterless car wash, this can sound pretty scary. They get scared and start desperately wondering whether or not their car is going to be unimaginably dirty until the hose ban is over. For people that do use the waterless car wash, the hose ban has absolutely no effect on them, except for the fact that their already shiny car will look even better when every other car on the road is extremely dirty.
