Childhood
• Warren Edward Buffett was born on August 30,
  1930 in Omaha, Nebraska, to his father Howard
  Buffett, who was a congressman, and his mother,
  Leila Buffett. He had two sisters; one older, one
  younger.
• As a kid, Warren was extraordinarily good at
  solving large lines of numbers in his head. During
  his childhood, you’d find Warren making money
  on the streets, possibly selling Coca Cola.
Early Adulthood
• In 1947, Buffett graduated from high school at the age
  of 17. When he did graduate from high school, he
  refused to go to college.
• For two years, he unintentionally went to UPEN. Then
  he went back to Omaha and decided to continue his
  college years in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for
  three more years.
• Later, he applied to Harvard, but was not accepted, so
  he went to Columbia University, where he was taught
  by Ben Graham, the Chairman of GIECO corp.. Once
  again, he returned home after being turned down by
  Ben Graham for a job.
• This time he met Susie Thompson. Then, in April of
  1952, they got married and had three children.
Adulthood
• In 1956, he started his own investment company,
  Buffett Associates, Ltd..
• In the year of 1977, Warren Buffett and Susie
  separated, but didn’t actually divorce.
• In June of 2006, Warren Buffett donated 85% of
  his wealth to Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
  This donation was the greatest donation in U.S.
  history!
• At the age of 76, Buffett re-married Astrid Menks,
  after Susie passed away seven years ago.
• In 2008, Buffett was ranked as Forbes’ richest
  man in the world.
