This document introduces a module on volunteers and the law, which contains 4 units that provide an overview of legal issues related to volunteers and good practice guidelines. The purpose is to ensure volunteers have an effective experience and that legal requirements are followed. Listeners are advised to have sound on and take notes as slides contain narration to explain the content.

Volunteers and the Law.
There are 4 units in this module. These units have
been developed to provide an overview of what
the law says about Volunteers and how to ensure
we are working within good practice guidelines.
The reason for this is to ensure that we provide
the most effective and appropriate volunteering
experience for our volunteers.
