An interactive dialogue on this topic will be of significance to form, educate, increase awareness on the challenges and entitlements of youth towards non-violence, peaceful and secure environment that assures and supports their development fully at the different levels of society that they represent. Therefore, with the above anticipated theme, all participants present, such as: the young people, youth leaders, representatives from public and private sector, media persona, law enforcers and members of various NGOs and CSOs, will gather to call for action and structure experiences on the issue of Juvenile Delinquency and Youth Development. The outcome document will also enhance youth contribution towards the attainment of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs
OBJECTIVES
During the dialogue all participants will gather to address and call for action on the following objectives:
* To promote awareness and analyse problems and inventories of programmes, services, facilities and resources available towards juvenile violence and delinquent behaviours;
* To identify the roles and contribution of different sectors such as: public sector, private sector, NGOs, and others, in solving Juvenile Deliquency and supporting constructive youth development as well as youth leadership;
*To gather and select good practices, challenges, experiences, and lessons learned from the national youth councils towards improving or amending the current policies in order to solve Juvenile Delinquency;
* To distinguish well-defined responsibilities for the qualified agencies, institutions and personnel involved in preventive efforts;
* To form and advance the national, regional and international policies governing the Juvenile Justice;
* To foster networking, collaboration and partnership among youth and all stakeholders in order to address the issue of Juvenile Delinquency;
* To advance the role of youth and actively involve them in the social development and attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In this chapter we will explore the concepts of social and economic justice and examine the characteristics of social injustice implicit in racism, classism, sexism, and gender orientation. The impact of social injustice is not always the same for people of color, women, or those who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or trans-gender.

In 1996, University of Vermont students worked in partnership with the Office of Student and Community Relations to establish the Community Coalition. The Coalition and its University and City of Burlington partners invest time and effort in neighborhoods utilizing a Street Strategy that focuses on community development. By incorporating a socially just and community-based approach that is driven by the needs and creative solutions of student and non-student residents, the Coalition achieves a longer-term impact at a sustainable cost. This approach addresses both the daily quality-of-life needs of community members and the systemic issues that destabilize neighborhoods.

Just over 12 months. And I want to use my experiences to help other people. And I’d love to work in the care system, but I’ve got a criminal record. And it’d be like, I want to work with homeless people, street workers, vulnerable women and stuff. And I know I can do that, but with a criminal record I couldn’t be with kids or anything like that. It’s only if you’re drink or drug related stuff. But I’ve been in prison and stuff. But I want to use my experiences to help other kids..” (Carla, 24)

So they had to cut back on quite a lot of stuff that I was used to. ” (Michael, 16)

And I didn’t know what to do, because I was stuck in between.” (Aesha, 16)

68. The young people felt UK services were target at England and felt neglected“It’s gradual, and then a big dip with the recession. But also, you hear about people who are leaving university and then not getting jobs anyway. The people I knew who were going to university and thinking, “Oh yeah, I’ll definitely get a job when I’ve finished”, even they’re not getting anything. So why were they even studying?” (Simon, 18)
71. Most felt that finding work is about ‘who you know not what you know’ and were sceptical about education

Most would return to education if they could but felt they lack the resources and support needed to do so“You don’t know where your next job’s from at the minute, you’ve just got to take what you can get. You’re losing [contracts] all the time. At the minute, you’re working for next to nothing, to try and undercut the other person, because they’re all doing the same. The companies, obviously, they can get credit. But if you can’t get the credit because of things that happened, there’s no way that you can do it.” (Craig, 25)
