Argument – When you make an argument, you are giving others reasons to believe you are right. This picture is about a man and a women arguing  about where their relationship stands.
Propose To propose something is to put forward a plan. A proposition is a plan or suggestion of something to be considered. This is a man proposing to a lady to get married.
Oppose To oppose is to resist , or be against someone or something. This is a champion boxer and his opposition standing face to face.
Imperative When it is imperative that you do something, it is absolutely necessary. Going to school is required in the USA.
Assert When you assert something, you declare it to be true. An assertion is a statement that you declare to be true. This man Pythagoras Asserted the Pythagoras  therom.
Refute To refute something is to prove something to be false or in error. His friend refuted the statement on his shirt.
Detrimental Something that can cause you harm or injury. Cigarettes are detrimental to your health.
Generalize To form general ideas about things, people or ideas based on a set of particular observations. These ideas are not always true. Sometimes the majority group makes generalizations about minority groups.
Ambiguous When something is Ambiguous it is vague. The letter X can me no or represent a number.
Globiliztion Process of establishing something worldwide. Pepsi is something sold all over the world.
