2. Adding contact info to your VLE
course or organisation is an
easy way to let people know
when staff are available and
where to find them.
Click the + on the menu and
choose Tool Link to add contact
info to the course menu.
3. Give the item a name (e.g.
Contact info) and choose
Contacts from the drop down
list. Check the Available to
Users box and Submit.
4. Your new Contact info item will
now appear at the bottom of
the menu. You can re-order any
menu item by hovering your
cursor over it until it turns into
a 4 way arrow, clicking and
dragging.
5. Click the Contact info menu
item and enter contact
details, including e.g. email
address, phone
number, location or office
hours.
6. You can also browse for and
upload a photo. The ideal size
for this is 150 x 150 pixels.
7. The VLE will scale your photo
if not resized to the stated
dimensions.
