Make A Wish…


• This picture book takes the reader around the world
  to see how children from different countries make a
  wish. Each page illustrates the country’s landscape,
  the type of clothes the children wear, and what they
  look like. The illustrations also show the children
  of each county making a wish!
Our brightly glowing lotus boats
       sail off beneath the moon.
    They tow away bad luck so that
our wishes come true soon. (Thong, 2008)
Happiness
•Each illustrations shows children filled
 with happiness. The families are enjoying
 their time together cooking, taking walks,
 or frolicking through fields. Children are
 playing with friends, laughing, learning,
 eating, and simply…
•being happy!
