The document notes hadith stating that failing to fulfill one's duties to parents or causing them distress will lead to hellfire. It also discusses not asking forgiveness for an idolatrous father and being dutiful even towards non-Muslim parents.

Al-Albani has weakened some hadiths from Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim by declaring them da'if (weak) despite them being narrated through trustworthy chains of narrators according to other scholars. This contradicts his statement that hadiths from Bukhari and Muslim's collections are sahih due to having sound chains of narration, not because they were collected by Bukhari and Muslim. The document then provides several examples of hadiths that Al-Albani weakened from Bukhari and Muslim's works although they were narrated by well-known narrators. It argues that Al-Albani lacked adequate research skills and made mistakes in his had
Ali came to the Prophet complaining that he had forgotten passages from the Quran. The Prophet taught Ali a prayer ritual to perform on Friday nights to strengthen his memory. The ritual involved reciting specific passages over four prayer cycles. The Prophet told Ali to do this for 3-7 nights and his memory would improve. Sure enough, when Ali returned only 5-7 nights later, he reported that he could now recall 40 passages from the Quran without error, showing the prayer ritual had greatly strengthened his memory as the Prophet had promised.

This is an English version of the book entitled Fada il-e-Qur’an originally written in Arabic by the Imam Muhammad bin ‘Abdul Wahb, an eminent Muslim Scholar, and translated into Urdu by Maulana Mahmud Ahmad Ghazanfar, Mab’uth, Dar al-Ifta, Government of Saudi Arabia. Strictly speaking it is not a literal rendering of the original; rather it is the presentation of the meaning of the original in easy English language; in presenting the meaning, however, an attempt has been made to be very close to the original.
This document provides an introduction and overview of Tafseer Ibn Katheer written by Shaykh Abdul-Qadir Al-Arna'oot. The introduction emphasizes the importance of memorizing the Quran and understanding its tafseer or exegesis. It notes that while calling others to follow the Salaf or early Muslims, many have neglected memorizing the Quran themselves. The introduction calls Muslims to focus on memorizing the Quran and learning its meaning from early Islamic scholars. It aims to motivate Muslims to better represent and understand Islam's holiest text.
Mere decorations and occasional recitation upon the death of a family member are just some of the ways that the use and purpose of the Qur’an has been misconstrued. Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki explains and reminds the listener of the true purpose for the Quran’s revelation. One must remember to ponder, reflect and understand the Quran properly, thereby actualizing the true reason for its revelation.
1) The Qur'an consists of revelations from Allah to Mohammed via the Angel Gabriel. It was compiled after Mohammed's death from fragments written on parchment and memorized by followers.
2) The Hadith are biographies, histories and records of sayings and deeds of Mohammed and his companions. They help explain verses in the Qur'an.
3) There are debates around the exact wording of some Qur'anic verses. Muslims believe the overall message is fixed but the words may have been recited in slightly different ways during Mohammed's life. Later verses can abrogate or cancel earlier ones.
This document discusses the excellent qualities of the Holy Quran. It is written by Imam Muhammed Bin Abdul Wahab and translated into English. It covers various topics including the virtues of reciting and gaining knowledge of the Quran, the excellence of those who follow the Quran, the obligation to learn and reflect on the Quran and warnings for those who are heedless, disobedience of the Quran's teachings, and more. Many hadiths from prophets and companions are cited that praise the Quran and its followers.

The document provides guidance on proper conduct when handling the Quran and encourages Muslims to recite and learn from the sacred text.
The document discusses Paradise (Jannah) and Hell (Jahannam) based on evidence from the Quran and hadith. It states that Paradise and Hell have already been created and their inhabitants are in those places even now. It describes Hell as eternal punishment for disbelievers and provides several Quranic verses and hadith to support the claim that Paradise and Hell exist presently. It also discusses the keepers of Hell, known as angels, who guard it and never disobey God's commands. The location of Hell is not definitively stated due to lack of clear textual evidence on the matter.
The document discusses the importance of reading and reciting the Quran according to several sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Book of Revelation, filled with symbolic and apocalyptic imagery, presents one of its most striking visions in Revelation 9:3-12—the locust army. Astronism, Cosmism and Cosmodeism: the space religions espousing the doctrine...Cometan
This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.

Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.

Lição 12: João 15 a 17 – O Espírito Santo e a Oração Sacerdotal | 2° Trimestr...OmarBarrezueta1

Introduction
Mantra Yoga is an exact science. "Mananat trayate iti mantrah- by the Manana (constant thinking or recollection) of which one is protected or is released from the round of births and deaths, is Mantra." That is called Mantra by the meditation (Manana) on which the Jiva or the individual soul attains freedom from sin, enjoyment in heaven and final liberation, and by the aid of which it attains in full the fourfold fruit (Chaturvarga), i.e., Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. A Mantra is so called because it is achieved by the mental process.

book of Sunnah. The Hadith is Sahih):
"While the Messenger of Allah and I were going from Al-
Juhfah to AI-Abwa', we were overspread by winds and
severe darkness. So the Messenger of Allah began to seek
refuge with 'Say I seek refuge with the Rabb of the Dawn (i.e.
Surah no. 113), and `Say I seek refuge with the Rabb of
Mankind (i.e. Surah no. 114) and said: ‘O ‘Uqbah, seek
refuge with them, for no person seeking refuge has sought
refuge with anything like them.”

The Blessings of Loving to Hear the
Quran from other
The Prophet said (Reported by Bukhari and Muslim):
`Recite the Quran upon me. 'So I said: `(How can I) read the
Quran upon you, and (yet) upon you it was revealed?' He
said: `I like to hear it from others besides me.' So I recited
Surah An-Nisa (i.e. Surah no. 4) upon him until I reached the
following verse: “How (will it be) then, when We bring from
each nation a witness and We bring you (O Muhammad ) as
a witness against these people?” So he said: `That is enough
for now.' So I turned to him (only to see) his eyes flowing
with tears.”

The Blessings of studying the Quran
The Messenger of Allah said (Reported by Muslim):
"There is not a group which has gathered in a house from the
houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it
between them, except that tranquility will descend upon
them, mercy will befall them, the Angels will encircle them,
and Allah will mention them to those who are with Him (i.e.
the Angels). And he who falls short (in gaining knowledge
and memorizing the Quran) should (be prompt in) action,
(in) that which lineage will not hasten him (to do).”
