Gio5 Linux is embedded OS for Thin Clients. The Gio5 Linux is designed to
support different types of remote connections for example VMware, citrix, Xfreerdp,
RDP etc. The project has client server architecture. Front end is GUI developed using
Python, act as client and middleware developed using C and C++ language act as server
which get the work done for the client. This client and server run as application on the

2. client’s Gio5 Linux OS.
The main goal of this project is to achieve centralized management, i.e. when
you want to change any settings or upgrade the OS in all the clients you just need to put
the configuration files or upgraded features in the server. When clients connect to the
server the configuration is downloaded into the clients and changes are upgraded in all
the clients.
