SUMMARY:
I am an experienced (4+ years) result oriented analytical chemist with capability of working multiple
projects simultaneously. I have hands on expertise in chromatographic method development by HPLC and
GC. I have experience in method validation, working in GMP environment and instrument calibration.
EXPERIENCE:
Associated with ITC-ILTD (Spices Lab) from Sep 2014 to till date.
Associated with AMRI (ALBANY MOLECULAR RESEARCH,INC.) from Jul 2011 to Aug 2014.
In ITC-Spices lab (from Sep 2014 to present as Junior Research Associate):
Analyzing parameters in spices like Aflatoxins, Ochratoxin-A, Trace metal analysis and Pesticide
residues quantitatively and qualitatively.
Developing the analytical methods for the analysis of toxic substances and Pesticide Residues by
chromatography (HPLC,GC, GC-MS/MS (Triple quad) and LC-MS/MS).
Working in NABL accredited laboratory (ISO 9000:17025) certified.
Testing the final substance and generate the certificate of analyses (COA). Drafting the test
method, weekly project update and analytical technical package (depends on project).
Interacting with business team to reduce the product failures at finalstages, henceforth reducing the
loss in production at final stages.
Involving in the analytical method validations.
Calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments as per SOP.
Actively involved in compiling MRL updates of different countries as accurate MRL’s will define
the good business with customers.
Conduct laboratory operations in a safe manner. Maintain familiarity with the Chemical Hygiene
Plan. Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practice. Use and maintain equipment in a neat and
orderly manner.
In AMRI (from Jul 2011 to Aug 2014 as Research Scientist):
Operation of the analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, IR, UV, Karl
fisher & DSC and performing the wet chemistry techniques like LOD, ROI and heavy metal
testing.
Developing the analytical methods for the analysis of pharmaceutical substances and
pharmaceutical intermediates by chromatography (RPLC, Chiral HPLC, GC, GC headspace and
LC-MS).
Giving the analytical support for testing of the in-process samples on realtime.
Testing the final substance and generate the certificate of analyses (COA).
Drafting the test method, weekly project update and analytical technical package (depends on
project).
2. Attend the customer teleconference and planning the analyticalwork as per customer requirements.
Involving in the analytical method validations.
Calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments as per SOP.
Conduct laboratory operations in a safe manner. Maintain familiarity with the Chemical Hygiene
Plan. Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practice. Use and maintain equipment in a neat and
orderly manner.
Keep contemporary, accurate, legible, and complete experimental records in accordance with GLP
practices.
