The V.E.T.S. Program is a private initiative by Sharp Decisions to place veterans in technology jobs across the country. It trains veterans in software testing capabilities while also providing industry knowledge and awareness of compliance. The program is unique in being grounded in the military principle of teamwork. It is open to post-9/11 veterans with some IT background who want to establish a career in the IT industry and are willing to learn new skills. Participants receive training in QA methods, tools, and business domains as well as hands-on experience, and have access to benefits as salaried employees of Sharp Decisions.

Program
V.E.T.S. (Vocations, Education, and Training for Service
Members) is a private initiative to place veterans in tech-
nology jobs across the country. V.E.T.S. leverages the skill
sets of veterans, training them in specific QA Software
Testing capabilities while also providing them with specific
industry knowledge and an awareness of compliance and
regulatory reporting.
The V.E.T.S Program is unique in one very
important way. It is grounded in one of the

Service before SelfProgram requirements
• Open to veterans, working or not
• Served all or a portion of active duty in the Post 9/11
Era
• Deployed outside the U.S. during time of service
• Have some IT background
• Have the desire to create a foothold in the IT industry
• Have the desire and dedication to learn new skills and
concepts
