This document provides examples of affirmative, negative, and interrogative forms of to be verbs in English and their abbreviated forms. For affirmatives, subjects are followed by verbs or verb contractions with 'I'm, you're, he's/she's/it's, we're, you're, they're.' Negatives reverse the verb and contraction before the subject. Interrogatives begin with the verb and place the subject after. Examples are given to illustrate each form.
