Veolia, a recognized leader in the management
of hazardous materials, offers an approach to
HazMat instruction that draws on our extensive
field experience. Our training programs offer
basic, advanced and refresher courses, and
each is tailored to meet your specific needs. We
use practical learning techniques and hands-
on training whenever possible to maximize
understanding of all materials.
Veolia recognizes the importance of compliance
in an ever-changing regulatory environment
and continually updates its training programs to
satisfy current DOT, EPA and OSHA requirements.
Classes Approved for
Training Contact Hours by the
Massachusetts DEP
The Massachusetts Department of
Environmental Protection has approved our
training sessions for Training Contact Hours
(TCH). We offer three classes, each of which earns
eight training hours:
• First Responder Operations Level
• Hazardous Materials Transportation (DOT)
• Hazardous Waste Management (RCRA) Training
These classes not only satisfy hazardous waste
requirements, but they also apply toward
wastewater license renewals in Massachusetts.
In addition, we offer the 24-Hour Hazardous
Materials Technician Program training, followed
by the 8-Hour On-Scene Incident Commander
(IC) course.
As a convenience, all classes are available
multiple times each year over the required
number of consecutive days.
