Patrick Casken
Pat has over 25 years’ experience within
the health and safety field, during this time
he has worked for the Health and Safety
executive, Health and Safety manager,
senior trainer and a director and consultant.
He has worked in a wide variety of industries
including mining, quarrying, engineering
through to the maritime industry. He has successfully delivered
Health and Safety training to oil and gas personnel on shore
and offshore in Kazakhstan and for BP in Angola.Pat is a key
training provider meeting the exacting standards required by
Armada OSH and international accreditation bodies. He also
has the experience to delivery various types of Health and
Safety courses in an exciting and interesting way.
Course Introduction
The NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and
Gas Operational Safety covers the principles of process
safety management in the oil and gas industries, it provides
an excellent foundation in health and safety allowing those
within the oil and gas industries to manage oil and gas
operational risks effectively. The qualification focuses on on
hydrocarbon process safety, so that candidates can effectively
discharge workplace health and safety responsibilities both
onshore and offshore throughout the world. It also highlights
the importance of process safety management.
Who is the Course for?
The NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in
Oil and Gas Operational Safety is suitable for managers,
supervisors, safety staff, and safety representatives with safety
responsibilities in the oil and gas industry, both within and
outside the UK, and is designed to provide a sound breadth
of underpinning knowledge that enables them to manage oil
and gas operational risks effectively. Delegates should already
have an underpinning knowledge of health and safety issues
and may already have studied one of NEBOSH’s Certificate-
level qualifications. It should be noted that currently the
examination is offered, and must be answered, in English
only. The standard of English required by candidates must
be such that they can both understand and articulate the
concepts contained contained in the syllabus.

Terms and Conditions:
By signing the Registration Form, the contracting organization (hereinafter referred to as “the client”) acknowledges
that it has read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions outlined hereunder.
Twhe client is liable to make paymen t in full to Fleming Gulf within 7 working days from the date
of issue on the invoice. Fleming Gulf reserves the right to refuse entry to any client who has not paid the invoiced
amount in full. The client may be requested to provide a credit card guarantee against the outstanding amount if full
payment has not been received. If the payment is not received on Fleming Gulf’s account on the seventh day from
the date of the issue of the invoice, Fleming Gulf is entitled to charge the Client an overdue interest of 5% p.a. for
every day, for which the Cleint’s payment is overdue. All sales are final. There will be no refunds for any cancellations,
partial or in full, made by the client. If the client decides to cancel, the full invoice remains payable. Fleming Gulf can
grant to the client a Credit in full for the amount paid by the client to Fleming Gulf if the cancellation is made prior to
a period of 30 days before the date of the conference. The Credit will be valid for one year from the date of issue and
is redeemable, up to the value of the Credit, for participation
at any Fleming Gulf conference or training. In the event of a cancellation made by the client less than 30 days prior to
the date of the conference, Fleming Gulf will not make a refund, nor will issue a Credit. Fleming Gulf reserves the right
to modify the content, timing, speakers or venue of the conference should circumstances dictate. The event may be
postponed or cancelled due to acts of terrorism, war, extreme weather conditions, industrial action, force majeure or
any event beyond the control of Fleming Gulf. Should such a situation arise, Fleming Gulf endeavours to reschedule the
conference. However, Fleming Gulf cannot be held responsible for any cost, damage or expenses incurred by the cli-
ent as a consequence of the conference being postponed or cancel. The conference fee does not include travel costs,
hotel accommodation, transfers or insurance. Any dispute arising under or by virtue of this Registration Form shall be
settled before the competent
Court in the United Arab Emirates.
