Mariano Martinez Peck designed and built the largest MIDI instrument in the world using a Raspberry Pi and VASmalltalk. The instrument consists of 18 pneumatic bells controlled by a Raspberry Pi Zero W and two add-on boards to manage the 18 GPIO pins. VASmalltalk running on the Pi implements both the GPIO control and web app interface to operate the bells. The instrument won third place at the ESUG Innovation Technology Awards.
