Various Competitions and Ceremonies Held at JSHS

1) Various clubs at Jesus' Sacred Heart School held activities in July after summer break to develop students' social skills, including a mass media club writing articles, a cookery club making mango dishes, and a science club learning about DNA. 2) Competitions like Pictionary, Warli art, and foil art were organized to enhance students' confidence, imagination, and speaking skills. 3) An inter-house football match was held to nurture sportsmanship and promote physical activity. 4) The school aims to foster all-round student development including writing skills and creativity through various presentations, competitions, and clubs.

JSHS held various activities in August 2021 including class presentations for grades 9, 10 and 12 to encourage students to express opinions. Grade 10 students passed their CBSE board exams with excellent results. Younger students from grades 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 gave presentations on topics like natural resources, the solar system, inventions, health and career counselling. Older students participated in a youth leadership summit and webinars on cyber security. Cultural events like poetry recitations and Raksha Bandhan were also celebrated.

In February 2021 at Jesus Sacred Heart School: - Students won awards at the district and state-level skating championship in Amritsar. - Pre-primary and primary students dressed in yellow to celebrate the onset of spring and decorated kites. - UKG students gave a presentation on electronic gadgets using PowerPoint for their virtual class. - LKG students gave an IT presentation on different cities in India, believing experiential learning is best. - A recognition day and class presentation was held virtually for pre-primary students to enjoy poetry.
