Mapping, Modeling, Measuring, Emulating:
“Because we need to map and to model ourselves in
order to understand and then be able to act in order,
darling” …. he said softly to her
----
An epic story of Cognition and Volition in an Economy
The need to have found (wajada) ourselves both
in the map (talk the walk) AND
in the model (walk the talk)
 WHY? … “Because we need to map and to model ourselves
in order to understand and then be able to act in order”
 But WHY?.. “Because we need to find ( = becoming, wajada)
ourselves both in The Map and in The Model while we’re in
the world”
 And the map is constructed while we’re walking; And the
model, is realized while we’re talking
 Easy?.. Hmmm.. It’s not difficult but not so simple; Wait
until you really really experience it
Four attributes of commodity
a commodity has 4 attributes:
 a value (note the link is to a non-Marxian
definition of value)
 a use value (or utility)
 an exchange value
 a price (it could be an actual selling price or
an imputed ideal price)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exchange_value
 Marx's view of commodities in Capital is illustrated by
the following quote:
 “We have seen that when commodities are in the
relation of exchange, their exchange-value
manifests itself as something totally independent of
their use-value. But if we abstract from their use-
value, there remains their value, as has just been
defined. The common factor in the exchange
relation, or in the exchange-value of the
commodity, is therefore its value.”
(Vintage/Penguin edition, p. 128, chapter 1, §1, para.
12)[1] exchange relation often represented as “exchange rate”,
different than “exchange value” seperti yang ada pada event transaksi
Use value, what is it?
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Use_value&oldid=782349551
 Pengertian “use value” dalam ekonomi Marx tidak sama dengan
“utility” (“utility function”) walau sangat sering dipersamakan
 Bagi kita yang berbahasa Indonesia: Use value itu identik dengan
apa yang sering kita katakan sebagai “guna”
 “guna” maknanya “kualitas” (quality) - dari bahasa Sansekerta
“gunah”; Re-read—baca kembali Marx: “… when commodities are
in the relation of exchange, their exchange-value manifests itself as
something totally independent of their use-value. But if we abstract
from their use-value, there remains their value, as has just been
defined …. ”
 Use value–quality, guna, hanya dirasakan ketika (when) dan jika (if)
mengalaminya “as has just been defined”. Ketika tidak sedang
mengalami, kita hanya mengingat-ingat (recollecting) “a quality”

To have an anticipatory system we need to parameterize
