This document describes a study that used a community-based participatory research approach and mobile tablet technology to assess and address barriers to adult vaccinations in Florida. Field health navigators conducted pre- and post-intervention surveys using a 5A's educational intervention model (Awareness, Additives, Autism Myth, Assist Others, Accessibility). Results showed that the bilingual intervention improved perceptions of vaccine safety and efficacy among the 224 adult participants. The study demonstrates that community-based education and mobile technologies can effectively reduce barriers to vaccination.
