OBJECTIVE: Mechanical Engineer internship/Entry level position
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona June 2015
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
Undergraduate Senior Project
Nano-fluids of Heat Pipe
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
Worked with different batch of seniors from January 2014 – June 2015 with various backgrounds of engineering knowledge.
Performed depth research on multiple international research papers of nanofluid of heat pipe.
Prepared a complete formal Review paper regarding Nanofluid of Heat pipe and successfully presented it to ASME 2014
International Mechanical Engineering Congress and exposition (IMECE2014).
Prepared list of materials and cost for experiment setup in order collecting multiple results on different percentage of nanofluid
usage for further research data.
Still on-going project to setup the experiment. Working on injecting nanofluid into the cooper tube with metal powder sintered
inside with vacuum condition mixed of water solution.
Other Courseworks
Ultra High Speed Elevator Design Project, Machine Design coursework
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
Work in a group of four designed and analyzed, followed the ASME code for designing an elevator reaching 300 meter high
building under one minute.
Prepared design paperwork on different critical components of an elevator such as type of cable, counter-weight, and type of
sheave.
Analyzed gear ratio, power required, and allowable tension between main sheave-gearbox, and gearbox-gear reducer (Roller
chain).
Using MDT4 analyzer program for time efficiency to analyze allowable gear set needed, maximum stress, factor of safety in
between gear set, which followed the ASME code of conduct to design an elevator.
Resulted 38 second for the elevator to reach at top of the 300 meter building with safe stop distance of range 6.4 to 18.4 meter.
