Blint Vn interned at the HTFA Research Institute from March to July 2014. He proved himself effective in finding relevant sources for research projects and synthesizing them into well-written texts. On another project, he was responsible for both analyzing and drafting a chapter on a topic he had no prior experience in, succeeding at the task. Overall, Blint accomplished all tasks given to him, sometimes exceeding expectations. The Sharing Economy: Embracing Change with CautionRobin Teigland
The Sharing Economy has been the subject of considerable interest among policy makers across the globe. This book begins by developing a pragmatic definition of the Sharing Economy. Next, we describe global Sharing Economy trends, followed by an examination of the Sharing Economy in Sweden. Subsequent sections address regulatory considerations and potential economic implications. The book then concludes with a discussion of possible policy responses.
This document summarizes key technologies and trends in collaborative economy, including sharing economy platforms, internet of things, 3D printing, crowdfunding, and crowdsourcing. It discusses how these areas are enabling new forms of value creation through peer-to-peer sharing of assets and services, as well as crowdfunded and crowdsourced innovation. However, it also notes challenges around regulating new business models and ensuring trust in the context of rapidly changing technologies outstripping the pace of legal and ethical standards.
