1) Bill Maxwell was filming an episode of the TV show Jungle Man in the studio, not the actual jungle. 2) During filming, he climbed a tree and swung from a rope but the rope broke, causing him to fall to the ground. 3) A gorilla actor was at the bottom of the tree and started jumping and shouting, terrifying Bill who thought it was real. But then the gorilla took off its mask, revealing it was just an actor.
