Personal statement
Every since I was little, I would always watch movies and programmes from all types
of genres and this led me to fall in love with the film and TV industry. This made me
feel fascinated and intrigued how the scenes are recorded and then combined
seamlessly together to make the final video. I love to create storylines and designed
my own pictures to go with the storyline as it makes me feel as if I have created my
own little movie.
I work very hard and I am always committed to my work as I am efficient in the
workplace. I have good communication and language skills as I am confident when
speaking to different people. I am very welcoming and an approachable individual.
Moreover, I am a punctual person as I always make sure to arrive to meetings or to
the workplace on time as I hate being late. I always want to work around different
tasks as I feel this will give me a challenge for myself and need to constantly keep
busy as I get bored if I have nothing to do.
Career objective
I am looking to apply my abilities to work in the TV industry as I feel I can show my
skills as I would like to create a programme that is unique and different from all the
others that people would love to watch. I would particularly like to work as a

2. screenwriter because I have good ideas that can be used to create storylines and be
used to create a new programme that hopefully could be shown on a channel that is
presented on television for everyone to watch. I would also like to pursue the career
of a screenwriter in the future once I have finished further education. I am a
dedicated team player who can work with other people in the company as I am
friendly and approachable.
Personal interests and outdoor activities
My personal interests are watching new movies and TV programmes that have just
been released in my free time. Furthermore, I like to keep up to date with the latest
movie genres as I enjoy exploring different areas of the movie industry.
I also like to draw characters and make storyline as if I am creating my own movie. I
always enjoy acting out scenes from my favourite movies with my friends, for
example, me and my friend love to act out the scenes from the movie, ‘White Chicks’
as we both enjoy the humour presented in the film and therefore find it very
entertaining. Another personal interest is that I like to spend my time watching
programmes that have been created to get motivated to create my own video that
could be shown to the public.
Summary of skills
Computer skills: I have a wide range of knowledge in the technology world. I work
with computers nearly every day and know how to work easily around devices. I am
working into media where I studied and gained knowledge from the subject at school
and I also got a level B in the subject ICT where I had to use a computer in all my
lessons and complete tasks using the computer. I am intermediate as I have a broad
range of knowledge in technology but i can still improve and learn more skills to
become advanced in ICT. I can work on the softwares of Microsoft Word and work
with Photoshop.
Language: I speak fluent English and also speak an additional language which is
Shqip as I come from Albania.

3. Office skills: I am very adequate when it comes to communicating with people for
example, answering the phone to people and speaking to them as I am someone
who is easy to speak to. I am much organised and make sure that I always complete
the task when they are due. I can also type fast on the keyboard as always use the
computer and i am use to typing fast as I have been typing on the computer from a
young age.

4. Work experience
March 2016
I did my work experience in a shop called Marks and Spencers where I had to
answer the phone and deal with the customer’s complaints and deal with working at
the till.
July 2016
I worked for the company, EF Metal Premier Work, where I had to work on the
computer and print out letter and display pages around the office to make the
workplace look organised and presentable.
